Take a look at the international poster for Kate Winslet and Jodie Foster‘s upcoming flick, Carnage.

Carnage, which is based on the Tony Award-winning play God of Carnage, tells the story of two sets of parents who decide to have a cordial meeting after their sons are involved in a schoolyard brawl. What starts off as a friendly meeting turns into utter chaos.

The film, which also stars Christoph Waltz and John C. Reilly, will make its debut at the New York Film Festival next month.

Carnage is directed by Academy Award winner Roman Polanski, who also adapted Yasmina Reza‘s play for the film’s screenplay.

This sounds like a really boring movie. But I’m intrigued because Christoph Waltz and Kate Winslet are in it.

Will not spend my money on this.

@Ethel: Well, he’s an Academy Award nominee. It’s not so bad. :)

# 6

No thanks. I don’t support fugitive child rapists or the people who aid him.

Actually it will end with “…and Academy Award nominee, John C. Reilly.”

Nominated for Chicago in 2002.

Woo hoo. Jodie Foster back in a great role. She doesn’t make enough movies. It will be fun to see her and Kate at each others throats.

Exactly and we’ve only heard about one victim. We don’t know how many victims there have been. Whether they’ve been paid off or haven’t talked due to fear or shame.

In essence, F#%# this guy.

I love Jodie Foster and Kate Winslet!!! and Christoph Waltz us awesome SOOOO I can’t wait!!!!!!!!

People who show such hatred againt Roman Polanski should educate themsleves more on the girl and her mother who put the girl at Jack Nicholson’s house in the first place. Stage Mom? Un huh. Looking for an advantage at the cost of her daughter’s virtue? Publicity? Wake up America. This was not a violent act of male agression. And Samantha Geimer (the girl) herself has publically (Larry King, Feb. 24, 2003) acknowledged her complience in the whole mess. She’s no shrinking violet. This isn’t meant to defend or excuse Roman’s actions, just put in it’s proper context. He’s a film maker , not a saint or a US Congressman.
