Breaking Bad Renewed For Final 16 Episodes

Breaking Bad will return for 16 more episodes, ultimately concluding the series, THR reports.

The hit AMC show, which stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, was reportedly in the middle of intense negotiations for a renewal, but a deal was finally worked out.

“It’s always tempting to keep it going, especially since we all know that this could very well be the best job we’ve ever had, but we would all hate to overstay our welcome and be the show that just kind of lingered,” writer Sam Catlin said of the series.

Noooooo… I absolutely love this show. Besides Mad Men and Dexter this is one of my favourite tv shows. I hate that the good ones always end early. Yet they run cr*p like Jersey Shore for years and milk it as much as they can.

I’m actually not sad because the very best shows are the ones that don’t beat the dead horse and start to go downhill simply because the writers have run out of ideas. The show is pretty damn perfect and is one of few shows that is abnormally consistent at the moment along with Mad Men. Seriously, how do they do it?

I’m sad because it’s ending, but I’m glad they’re not going to do what a lot of shows do and just keep on goinggggg. It’s one of the best shows television has ever had, has, and ever will have. I’m just hoping we’ll get to see more outstanding work from the writers, directors, and of course, the extraordinarily talented cast :)

This season has been a disappointment after 3 outstanding seasons. If it keeps like this I won’t be too sad to see it go. But I will miss Aaron Paul. I adore him!

no, its time for it to start wrapping up. The 1st season was amazing, and so was most of the second.

But it feels like its started meandering and wandering from what made it such a great show. The intense focus on relationships isn’t there anymore, its just dark and depressing all the time. I also miss the adventure of Jessie and Walt standing up to Tuco, getting stranded out in the desert…etc.
