The 36-year-old soccer stud won the Do Something Athlete award!

Up against David for the award, which was presented onstage by Gordon, was tennis pro Rafael Nadal, surfer Bethany Hamilton, skateboarder Ryan Sheckler, and racer Jeff Gordon.
