OlderTaylor Momsen: 'I Quit Acting, Actually'
Don’t expect to see Taylor Momsen returning to TV any time soon – or ever!
“I quit acting, actually. I quit Gossip Girl and now tour and am in a band and that’s pretty much all I want to do. Hopefully I’ll be able to only do that for the rest of my life,” the 18-year-old Pretty Reckless singer recently told Elle.
Taylor, along with Jessica Szohr, parted ways with the hit CW drama back in May.
As for whether she prefers writing, recording, or performing music, Taylor shared that she loves “it all.”
“They’re all very different. Writing is a very tortuous process, but, you know, I would say one of the most rewarding at the end. I love recording, it’s a completely different mindset from being on tour. But anytime you have an opportunity to play music, whether it’s in the studio or on the road, it’s the best thing in the world,” she explained.

Lets not be bitter and hateful. If somebody is doing what they love, and have figured out what it is at a young age then good for them.
They way she dresses and acts is her style, nothing more. She is a bit of a poser but I could really careless. Everyone went through a wierd phase and the only difference between us and her is the fact that she has money and is famous enough to make herself seem like she cares.
Trust me, give her 5 years max before she runs back to being normal.
Its gravity, she was never this hopeless girl shes trying to make herself sound like, she is a rich princess who has enouph money to free that way.

Honey, we all knew that you quit when the show put you on an indefinite hiatus. Ha! Anyway, she has a good voice, but she won’t last long. I give her about three years before she becomes irrelevant.
