OlderKirsten Dunst: 'Melancholia' Poster!
Kirsten Dunst dons a wedding dress and veil in the poster for her new film, Melancholia.
Here’s the synopsis: Justine (Dunst) and Michael (Alexander Skarsgard) are celebrating their marriage at a sumptuous party in the home of her sister Claire (Charlotte Gainsbourg), and brother-in-law John (Kiefer Sutherland). Despite Claire’s best efforts, the wedding is a fiasco, with family tensions mounting and relationships fraying. Meanwhile, a planet called Melancholia is heading directly towards Earth.
Kirsten premiered the drama at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, where she was named Best Actress for her role in the Lars Von Trier-directed flick.
Melancholia will be available on VOD October 7 and will hit theaters November 11!

@kate: I’ve seen the movie , it’s out in France since last week ,and i think that she’s amazing in the movie , but not winning Oscar Amazing maybe Golden Glo & Bafta , but at this time of the year she’s really close to get nominated . We’ll see who else got some awesome acting ..
@offtheproperty: It is directed by the man who said he understood Hitler, if thats what you were asking. Its a bit unfair for that idiot’s comments to reflect on the actors and their performances.
I should add that what Lars said is in no way acceptable, and he deserves every bit of criticism he is getting.

Can’t wait to see this movie! Kirsten looks lovely and she’s a talented class act. That’s one co-star that Skarsgard should have gotten involved with.

umm i do LOVE Kristen and I love the term meloncholia but the poster looks seriously amateur and in no way remotely as artistic and inspiring as I had imagained I hope the film leaves more to be desired than this blase poster….
