Sebastian Stan looks dapper in a purple Calvin Klein Collection blazer in this feature for August Man‘s September issue.
Here’s what the 28-year-old actor had to share with the mag:
On his time on Gossip Girl: “I’m very grateful for [it]. It allowed me to stay in NYC and also allowed me to expand in terms of camera acting. I remember this agent came up to me the first day I did GG and he pulled me aside and said, ‘Don’t use your hands so much when you talk. Be still. Do much less. You’re gesticulating too much and it distracts from your eyes and your face.”
On stepping behind the camera: “I would like to write something one day. I keep wrestling with it but my focus is completely on acting so far so I haven’t given it my whole energy yet.”

@emily: I agree, I hink it’s a big bonus for him since it can open doors and allow him to play darker characters. He definitely has a not welcoming face/attitude. Saw him in Black Swann, he was good.

he’s sooooo gorgeous!! i have a major bordering obsessive crush on him. now i don’t want people to judge his acting chops based on “gossip girl” because he really does have talent unlike the rest of the cast who in my opinion are a bunch of pretty, not talent robots. he was on the nbc show “kings” and he was actually pretty brilliant:) he had charm, charisma, depth & style. i just fell in love:):) it’s ashame that he doesn’t get many good roles and the few that he does gets he gets relegated to minimal supporting cameo type roles. he need to fire the people that gives him roles in stuff like gossip girl & get with the people in charge of ryan gosling’s career!!!!
This man is truly talented and (far more than) quite handsome! I was so pleased when they cast him as James Buchanan “Bucky” Barnes in Captain America :) I cried for his brilliant performance at the midnight premiere (and I’m proud of it)!
He SERIOUSLY needs to come over to Houston Texas some time!
