OlderChord Overstreet: 'Bummed' to Leave Glee
Chord Overstreet heads back to his car on Thursday (August 25) after going to lunch with friends at Urth Caffe in West Hollywood.
The 22-year-old actor was happy to meet a few fans on the way out.
Chord recently filled TVLine in on his departure from Glee.
“Of course I was bummed initially,” Chord said of learning that he wouldn’t be coming back. “I had the best time working on the show and I had one of the best life experiences. It was a blast. But I decided to look at it as an opportunity to dive into my music.”
Chord also said he’ll keep watching the show! “I don’t think I could ever stop watching it,” he laughed.

Good luck with your music Chord, though I doubt you’d ever be as successful as you would if you remained on Glee. Don’t bite the hand that feeds.
naya rivera and heather were just guest on the first 13 episodes, after that they became regulars. harry jr just became regular now.
they offered the same for ashley and she is in glee.
i think he was disapointed that darren chris became a regular and he didn’t, it is a shame because he would have a plot arc with mercedez character.
he should keep working on glee and work on his music as well, cory mark , amber and naya are doing it.

Naya River and Heather Morris did not become regulars until Season 2.
I can’t believe they didn’t ask him to come back as a regular :( I loved his character & think it will be weird that he was the new kid and then just all of a sudden gone again, that just irritates me. But I wish him the best of luck with everything, I’ll continue to follow him. But I also can’t wait till the new season of glee next month!
I think this will end up being a blessing in disguise for him. I like Glee, but it’s sporadic at best. Glee gave him the spotlight and attention, so hopefully that’ll translate into more/better roles.
What a Jerk! HE is the one that didn’t WANT to come back cause they wouldn’t GIVE him more money! $$

The creator of the show clearly said Chord was welcome back & HE didn’t want to return!
I’m guessing it’s over money, Sounds like “Somebody” got a big head really quick! It’s too bad :-(
