Emily Deschanel leans against a car while filming scenes for her show Bones on Monday (August 22) in Pasadena, Calif.
The 34-year-old pregnant actress showed off her growing baby bump under a floral-patterned dress.
Emily, whose character Temperance Brennan will also be pregnant, will only appear in 13 episodes of Bones next season.
“She’s real pregnant now. I think she’s excited to actually have the baby,” Emily‘s sister Zooey Deschanel told E! “It’s probably a challenge. She gets tired a lot. I could imagine that’s hard doing a show. But she’s a really hardworking person.”

@Elizabeth: Brennan is having Booth’s baby. They slept together (off camera) last season and she got pregnant.
They did not have sex, she used his sperm (donated from earlier show)
They did not “sleep together” she used his sperm that he donated from a earlier show. This is going to be interesting.

Yes, they did sleep together. If you think other wise go back and watch The Hole in the Heart followed by The Change in the Game. If you’ve seen both and still think that they haven’t done anything physical then go read interviews with the people behind the scenes. Or go on thinking what you’re thinking, its not going to change the fact that she got pregnant in The Hole in the Heart, not by Booth’s sperm from season 4.
They did make love (but we didn’t see it) at Booth’s appartment, when Mr Nigel Murray was killed.

Yeah, I remember the episode when Nigel was killed (hated that so much) they kinda alluded to them sleeping together.

I hope this whole pregnancy thing won’t affect their chemistry. No other show has been able to maintain that sizzling chemistry between the two leads even after they’ve become intimate since The X-Files.
They did have sex… even the writers have said they did in interviews.

My hubby and I really r happy for deschanel and her hubby it seems like she has been pg for a long x. But these pics of her are beautiful she’s glowing and looking healthy and happy. My nefew wants to be an” bones” guy he loves the show so he wants to be an doc. Of anthropology
