Jon Hamm: 'Mad Men' Directorial Debut in the Can

Jon Hamm makes his way into the Chateau Marmont on Tuesday (August 23) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 40-year-old Mad Men actor recently made his directorial debut on the award-winning show and his co-star John Slattery gave him a rave review for his work.

“Nobody was surprised at how well he would do,” John told E! “He’s a very smart guy. He knows the show better than any of the actors certainly because he’s there every day and he’s in every scene…And he gives good direction. And he’s an actor so he knows how to give you something specific and brief that’s useful.”
