OlderNicki Minaj Debuts 'Fly' Video at the MTV VMAs
Nicki Minaj adds a ton of color to the black carpet at the 2011 MTV VMAs on Sunday (August 28) at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles.
The 28-year-old entertainer debuted the video for her song “Fly” featuring Rihanna during the red carpet pre-show.
During the ceremony, Nicki hit the stage with Jonah Hill to present the award for Best Pop Video to her Femme Fatale tourmate Britney Spears!
Nicki was nominated for three awards during the show, including Best Female Video.
FYI: Nicki is wearing an Amato Couture pink corset, Shojotomo Japan shorts, thigh highs, and critter socks, Tsimori Chisato stockings, an Onch Movement ice cream necklace, Fifi and Romeo plastic cuffs, and Duepunti rings.

She’s not copying GaGa. She’s wearing a modified form of Japanese street fashion. This looks sort of like decora/fruits (although decora is usually a bit more modest than this). I think she looks great, personally.

It’s the Age of Gaga you guys. In the future our great grandchildren will be wearing horns on their foreheads and gloves that are awkwardly connected to their shoes and socks.
Rihanna seems to understand the concept of hanging out with a less attractive friend to appear hotter. Haha. She does look good and somewhat normal in the video though.
