Don Cheadle dons face paint and a superhero suit as Captain Planet in a new video for Funny or Die.

A live action film adaptation of the popular Cartoon Network series is in the works and this spoof trailer was just released!

In the spoof, Captain Planet is a power-abusing superhero who replenishes the earth’s resources by turning humans and animals into trees.

The video also features rumored pregnant actress Brenda Song, The Chronicles of Narnia‘s William Moseley, and Napolean Dynamite‘s Efren Ramirez.
