Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, and Jeremy Renner continue filming The Avengers on Saturday (September 3) in New York City.
The trio, dressed in their hero costumes, filmed an intense action scene along Park Avenue – with fire, cars turned over, smoke, and a broken plane!
The day before, the three actors and co-stars Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., and Tom Hiddleston worked on the Joss Whedon-directed flick in NYC’s Central Park.
The Avengers is slated to hit theaters next spring!

Scarlett Johansson has a healthy model figure that boasts an ample cleavage, fuller legs and a fuller backside. I just love her curves. She’s so shapely. She’s a great example to women around the country.
It seems that Hawkeye and Black Widow were meant to be substitutes for Ant-Man and Wasp all along.
Scarlett Johansson is voluptuous, gorgeous, sexy and beautiful. She’s amazing. That woman is incredible.
It would be great if this movie has a post-credits scene showing the Avengers in Libya capturing Colonel Muammar Gaddafi to ground the movie in reality.
I would have liked to see Anne Hathaway have a fuller figure in The Dark Knight Rises like Scarlett Johansson does in this movie instead of losing weight.
I hope they will include Ant-Man and Wasp in future sequels as well as the following villains:

@jane-lee: She looks like she hasn’t done a pushup in her life, that’s not credible at all. I agree woman of action or heroines shouldn’t be rail thin, but they should definitely look like strong amazons. Scarlett doesn’t fit in this.

I am tired of people saying that SJ is a good role model for all women re: body image. What people are really saying is that she is the ideal type of ‘curvy’ –not too skinny, not too large.
1. Yes, she is buxom but there is more to that than having ‘real curves’, and surely she isn’t the only example! Why don’t people spend time giving props to America Ferrera, Adele, Jennifer Hudson and Mo’Nique for their curves and being themselves? Simple. Because they are not ‘proportioned’ and don’t have a tiny waist. People celebrate Scarlett because she is a slim girl with meat in the right places. An hourglass.
2. Who’s to say that having curves is the only natural way to be? Many women are naturally slender (Natalie Portman, Audrey Hepburn) and their body type shouldn’t be considered void.
I agree woman of action or heroines shouldn’t be rail thin, but they should definitely look like strong amazons. Scarlett doesn’t fit in this.
