OlderGwyneth Paltrow: 'Contagion' Photo Call in Venice!
Gwyneth Paltrow wears a bright orange Prada dress at the Contagion photo call on Saturday (September 3) at the Palazzo del Cinema in Venice, Italy.
The 38-year-old actress was joined at the 68th Venice Film Festival event by her co-stars Matt Damon and Laurence Fishburne, as well as director Steven Soderbergh.
Matt recently sat down with Access Hollywood and chatted about teaming up with Gwyn, his co-star in 1999′s The Talented Mr. Ripley.
“More so than anybody I’ve ever worked with, she’s got an ability to turn it on and off. Like she can just be talking about anything and then when they say, ‘Rolling,’ it’s like she snaps, she just locks in, in a way that I don’t understand, ‘cause I can’t do it,” he shared.
“I’ve worked with a lot of great actors and one thing that happens for me is that a great actor is so good that they pull me right in … that’s how I feel when I do a scene with her, I’m instantly brought in because she takes me there,” he added.
FYI: Gwyneth finished off her look with Nicholas Kirkwood peep toe pumps. Matt is wearing an Alternative Apparel tee.

It is unfortunate that her co-stars in Contagion – Jude Law, Kate Winslet and Marion Cotillard are absent at the photo call.

Where are Marion and Kate? Why Gwyneth? Her role is so small in the film! I wish Soderbergh had cast someone else in that role, so we wouldn’t have to see her usual useless look of really blonde hair, botoxed face, and short dresses to show off her legs.
The fit of the dress is awkward. Not sure I like this colour on her either.
Also, that dress is not doing her usual slouchy posture an favours!

Yeah, the dress doesn’t fit and she looks kind of rough in some of the shots. A brighter lipstick shade would have helped.
