OlderMadonna & James Franco: 'Sal' Premiere in Venice
Madonna comes out to support James Franco at the premiere of his new film, Sal, during the 68th Venice Film Festival at Palazzo del Cinema on Saturday (September 3) in Venice, Italy.
In this exclusive JustJared.com photo, the 53-year-old singer congratulated the 33-year-old actor on his film, which he starred in, directed, and wrote.
James recently released a statement about the film, which is about the last days of homosexual actor Sal Mineo.
“He lived the common tragedy of so many creative people who are so passionate about what they do and yet don’t have an outlet for their work,” James said. “This film is a portrait of a sensitive and kind artist in his last hours”
