Katie Holmes Looks for Roles That Challenge Her

The 32-year-old Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark actress (in a Junk Food tee) also dropped by a dance studio earlier in the week with her hubby, Tom Cruise.

Katie recently told the Wall Street Journal that she looks for variety in the roles that she plays.

“During my whole career, I’ve always looked for characters that I’ve never played before, and I’ve always wanted to work with really great filmmakers. That’s always been my philosophy, and made my career personally very enriching,” Katie said. “It’s just important to keep working harder to find roles that are interesting to me and movies that I enjoy and characters that will challenge me.”
