OlderLeighton Meester: 'Gossip Girl' Extended Promo Released!
Leighton Meester shields her body with an umbrella as she walks through the set of Gossip Girl on Tuesday (September 6) in New York City.
The 25-year-old actress (in Autumn Cashmere), who filmed on Park Avenue all day, braved the rain while fans swarmed the set! Leighton kept dry in the rain with a pair of Jimmy Choo and Hunter boots and carried a Jimmy Choo “Zena” bag.

An extended promo trailer of the fifth season of Gossip Girl was recently released!
Be sure to check out Leighton and her co-stars Blake Lively, Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick, and Penn Badgley when the new season premieres on the CW on September 26.

what’s wrong with liz hurley’s voice? Please don’t say she will be playing some sort of italian with a bad accent?? I really think she should stick with her british accent – she played american characters in the past and never bothered with the accent!

I’m sorry?! why is GG in LA – if i wanted LA I would watch 90210 or something. I watch GG for NEW YORK!!! especially now that i have visited the place and have an idea of what they are saying (i’m from london btw)
Leighton and Chace are adorable! However, I don’t think that this promo helped the new season. I’m hoping it’s way better than it looks here. I’m not sure about GG being in LA but they’ll only be there for a few episodes, if that…but I will be glad to have them back in New York.

LA looks fun. Chuck and Nate look hot. Serena looks great! Aww I wish Blair was with them having fun instead of looking miserable planning her wedding in NYC. Would have love some Chair in the promo!
I hate the lack of Chair but I love how much fun Chuck, Nate and Serena seem to be having in LA.
Nate PWNS the promo with sexy Chuck coming in second. But yeah, it’s in desperate need of a lot of Chuck and Blair. ALOT. The show sucks without them.
