Zooey Deschanel Covers 'New York' Magazine

Zooey Deschanel shows off her baby blues on the cover of New York magazine’s latest issue.

Here’s what the 31-year-old New Girl actress had to share:

On getting to show off her physical comedy skills: “I guess I felt like there was stuff I could do that nobody knew I could do. It’s rare that the ladies get to be funny in that particular way.”

On whether she’s mistaken for Katy Perry regularly: “I literally met her twice six years ago. It’s a strange relationship to have with somebody. I probably answer more questions about her than about my own family.”

Zooey is really gorgeous. She’s amazing. That woman is incredible.
I’ve always thought that she and Katy Perry resemble each other and now they are both singer-songwriters and actresses. I hope that they do a movie together playing twin sisters.

Zooey is so sweet, talented, beautiful (HER EYES!), I absolutely adore her, I loved New Girl… and she does look like Katy Perry, but I think Zooey is prettier

I don’t like that cover shot – I agree it’s creepy because it’s out of context (i.e., not shown within the ‘funny’ spread). The other 2 pics are great, though. And yes, I believe her eyes are naturally blue, but not THAT blue…

Oh dear God, no! What hell? Could it be a closer close-up? Poor woman. She deserves better.

I’d have to say I prefer Alexis’s eyes based off these pics

That is just plain Zombie-look. Her sister – “Bones” – is a much much MUCH better actress! This Zooey is really not funny and has a face nobody can remember. I have seen her many times and would never recognize her. Ever. Emily though – a different category, a real woman, a real actress.

    Two sisters this fall Says:

Zooey sister is Emily she plays Bones on then show Bones is expecting
Her first child that makes Zooey her aunt! Both sisters have shows
This fall! Zoey’s is a comedy and Bones is a drama. And Emily’s role is so
Serious! It is nice to see Zooey on tv.
