OlderAlexander Skarsgard: My Grandma Loves Her Liquor!
Alexander Skarsgard leaves one of his favorite lunch spots, Cafe Gitane, on Thursday (September 15) in New York City.
The 35-year-old Straw Dogs and True Blood star recently made an appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, where he told a funny story about his grandma who lives in his native Sweden.
“She’s kind of the matriarch of the family. She runs the clan with an iron fist. She’s about 82 now and she’s in a wheelchair. Every day at 1 o’clock, we roll her out to this restaurant [in south Stockholm]. We give her a beer and two shots of Fernet Branca. Oh, she loves it. She loves it a little too much,” Alex shared.
“She can obviously walk. She’s in a wheelchair cause she’s drunk! Then she gets a bottle of white wine,” he added.

Alexander looks great here, and the interview is very funny. It’s obvious that he enjoyed being on the show. It must be cooler out with him wearing long sleeves the past couple of days.
@Lilla: You went to the taping of the show? So jealous!!! Happy for you though. Alex and Jimmy were hilarious together. He should invite him on the show more often. Jimmy has a talent for making his guests feel at ease. Still hoping Alex will do SNL at some point in the near future. He’d be a hoot!

I loved that interview! He and Jimmy were having such an awesome time. Having said that, I can just hear the crazies chiming up “see his family is a bunch of drunks” and other such bunk. I’m sure we can all expect that to happen on here.
