OlderBrad Pitt Is 'So Happy' To Have Angelina Jolie
Brad Pitt takes the cover of this Sunday’s issue of Parade.
Here’s what the 47-year-old Moneyball star had to share with the mag:
On being a “satisfied man”: “Happiness is overrated. I put much more emphasis on being a satisfied man. I’m satisfied with making true choices and finding the woman I love, Angie, and building a family that I love so much. A family is a risky venture, because the greater the love, the greater the loss. That’s the trade-off. But I’ll take it all.”
On his past: “I spent the ‘90s trying to hide out, trying to duck the full celebrity cacophony. I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic. It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn’t living an interesting life myself. I think that my marriage [to actress Jennifer Aniston] had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn’t.”
On Angelina Jolie: “One of the greatest, smartest things I ever did was give my kids Angie as their mom. She is such a great mom. Oh, man, I’m so happy to have her.”

This is just BEAUTIFUL!!! As a mother myself, I can imagine no higher praise than something like that coming from the father of your children!!

though I like brad and Angie together, I’ve always been wonering why people don’t like Jennifer Aniston, and have no respect for her hard time when brad left her but now I understand. She was not that good for him and is seeking for attention. If he would be happy with her he would never live her for another woman just because she’s more interestng and beautiful.

Everybody’s always hard on Jennifer about being stuck on Brad and constantly talking about him.
Now he’s talking about how unhappy he was in his marriage to her.And in a douchey way.

I get so sick of everyone vilifying Angelina as some homewrecker. I’m happy to read that PItt admits that his marriage wasn’t all that the mags/tabloids/fans made it out to be.
The only two people who know how a marriage is are the two people IN the marriage.
