Trevor Donovan: Playing Ken in Barbie Movie?

Trevor Donovan waits for his car at the valet stand after having dinner at a restaurant earlier this week in Los Angeles.

The 32-year-old 90210 actor had a meeting with producer Laurence Mark to discuss the possibility of him playing Ken in Universal Pictures’ live action Barbie movie.

Trevor recently told Life & Style (via Today.com) that playing a gay character on The CW drama has helped his dating life.

“It’s been good for me. Girls want to challenge it. They kind of assume I’m [gay in real life] and try to change me back. Of course, I let them!” he shared.

Wow, he’s the perfect Ken, but maybe the hair needs to be a little lighter. He’s too girly-looking, though.

I’m 35 and I’m not ashamed to say I watch 90210 just to drool over him. Trevor as Ken is just meant to be I’d say. A+ to producers for thinking of him.

    Barbie’s measurements
With regard to the ongoing claims that Barbie Dolls have outrageously unrealistic proportions that could never be obtained by a living human, I am continuing to get discrepancies between my measurements of a Barbie Doll and the measurements claimed by others including those who are taking their own measurements, so I have decided to do new measurements for which I will document my methodology for taking the measurements and the exact design year and model of the Barbie I am measuring. The claim of a 39 inch bust is not true although it is constantly repeated without being checked.
Barbie’s REAL measurements can be found on my site at http://www.toyboxbitch.com/files/PAGES/BARBIESIZE/BARBIESIZE.html

@TrevDon writes “Dear @Life_and_Style,” “Although I appreciate the interview/article, but the headline ‘Playing gay gets me girls’ was an off the cuff, joking around remark, & feel takes away from the real meaning of the discussion/interview, which was the importance of the Teddy storyline and what influence a simple storyline can have & mean to some people.”

I grew up in a small town and understand, the hopefully positive impact, an important story like Teddy’s could have on teens growing up in rural areas. Again, thank you for the interview, but for the record I did not see playing Teddy or ‘Playing Gay’ as a way to get girls, but as an opportunity to embody a challenging role and do it with purpose.”
