Michael Bolton: Jack Sparrow in Emmys Performance!
Michael Bolton hits the stage at the 2011 Emmy Awards held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (September 18) in Los Angeles.
The 58-year-old singer reprised his role as everyone’s favorite pirate, Jack Sparrow, during a performance of Andy Samberg & The Lonely Island‘s nominated songs in the Outstanding Original Music or Lyrics category.
Andy, Maya Rudolph, and Akon also hit the stage to perform songs such as “I Just Had Sex,” “3-Way (The Golden Rule),” and “Jack Sparrow.”
None of the songs won the award as it went to Justin Timberlake for his monologue on Saturday Night Live.

Bolton’s such a great sport. Maya Rudolph is hilarious as well.
I loooove The Lonely Island, but I thought they were gonna do a medley of all the series nominated that night, if that was the case this was going to be awesome, although this performance was funny, it was pointless overall.
Oh I see, I get it now. I’m sorry about my comment, but these weren’t the only songs nominated in the category…………………..
