OlderDakota Fanning: Texting in NYC
Dakota Fanning sends a text message as she steps out on Tuesday (September 20) in downtown New York City.
The 17-year-old actress spent last week at New York Fashion Week, where she attended the Marc Jacobs and Rodarte fashion shows!

Dakota also helped launch Oh, Lola!, Marc Jacobs‘ latest fragrance, at the line’s boutique in NYC.
Over the summer, Dakota shot her latest movie, Now is Good, in England with Jeremy Irvine. The film will hit theaters next year.

if only she didnt do twilight then this girl would be all sorts of cool for me..
Texting while crossing the street, you can’t get much stupider than that.
I feel sorry for her. She’s just a kid walking from a work out, probably getting ready for a class after she hits the shower and she has to worry about the paparazzi. On an island with almost 2MILL people she can’t disappear – and she looks plenty annoyed too.
Out of all the universities actors choose they choose NYU . . . the other home of the paparazzi. (Yea, I know Tisch is great, but why pay $60K for PERFORMING ARTS SCHOOL?!) Look elsewhere for an education because you’re heading towards four years of stalking by the paps. Attend Fordham, the paps won’t venture into The Bronx. Attend Columbia if you want to stay in NYC. The paps won’t venture near as much since that’s near Harlem. Heck, attend a LAS in the cornfields if yo want an intense academics and privacy. Want a traditional college experience w/o sacrificing academics, attend a Big 10 or ACC university.
