'Dream House' in Theaters Today!

Dream House is finally here!

Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz star as a couple who move into a home with their daughters, only to find out that a brutal crime was committed against former residents of the house.

Naomi Watts also stars in the thriller, in theaters TODAY (September 30).

Producer Ehren Kruger recently spoke with MTV News about what Daniel brought to the table in the film.

“This is a character who, on the outside, seems like an everyman, a family man, but you come to find out he has a number of demons of his own. Daniel was really able to dig into those and pull off a very intense portrayal of a man trying to protect his family in nearly an impossible situation,” Ehren said. “It’s a very valiant performance from him.”

Why there wasn’t any promotion or red carpet of this movie? So the rumors stating that Rachel Weitz and Craig refused to do promotion because they didn’t like the final product were true.

I’m excited to see this. I have a feeling it won’t be very good though…

was way better than I expected. Don’t know why it is labeled a horror flick, it clearly isn’t. It’s not even near horror, it’s a psychological thriller. Not the best I’ve seen, but not as worse as some say. It had it’s moments and the firs hours was thrilling, than it lost it’s pace. Craig was brilliant as was Weisz, Watts was ok. And the two kids were adorable. Don’t get it why the folks on set haven’t figured out what was going on between Craig and Weisz, they almost burned the screen.

I think people did know what was going on between Rachel and daniel. they just chose to remain quiet.

We’ll we saw DH, it was ok, the 3 people with me thought it was terrible and there were only about 40 people in the movie theater on opening night which is not a good sign. I could see chemistry between them that was cool and the last scene of them together – they were either an item or knew they would be. There is a shot of Daniel getting out of bed and he has an awesome six pack!

I thought Dan’s acting was great with a couple of exceptions he doesn’t scream well and when he did we all started laughing (sorry Dan) and he chases the kids in one scene which was scary rather than endearing, but his acting was the bright spot in the movie.

Watt’s character and her daughters were so under developed, the daughter was nothing more than a prop. Really bad script at work in this movie.

Rachel’s acting was ok, but I will give her a pass on this one, she was probably too distracted by Daniel to concentrate.

The bright note on this one I can see the happy together in real life.

They have their eyes on some massive TriBeCa lofts in the US$8-million to US$15-million range, The New York Post reports. And they’ve been spotted apartment-hunting on both Greenwich and Walker streets.”
Dream House horror cost $55 million and now both are looking for dream house from $8 to $15 million.
