I will celebrate the release of this movie by watching the original. I guess I’m a purist, but I hate when they remake movies that are already so awesome.

I loved the original but this pays honor to the first. An updated film that does justice to the original is a good thing. And I was around for the original, Kevin Bacon was amazing. A fantastic job on the update. Blake Shelton is fabulous and does a great job on this recording.

I’m sorry but you might as well have cut and pasted scenes from the original. NOTHING beats Kevin Bacon and Chris Penn. I’m getting so mad from all these remakes of my favourite childhood movies. If they want to introduce them to a new generation, re-release the original movies in the cinema’s but dont go shitting on my childhood.

I also think Kenny Ortega is sacreligious, even contemplating directing or helping make these after working on some originals makes me sick.

this is what Hollywood does- remakes and they are always worse- sometimes much, much worse.
this is going to flop.

Awful! Worst remake ever.

Sorry, nothing about the remake will be like the first. Will not watch the video; will not see the movie. My time is too precious to waste.

@Louise: Kenny didn’t help with this. He dropped out of it after Zac Efron said he didn’t want to do it.
