Chord Overstreet is reportedly headed back to Glee!
After Chord‘s departure was announced in July, the 22-year-old actor is set to reprise his role as Sam beginning in the show’s eighth episode of the third season – the episode is tentatively slated to air in early December.

“We missed Chord and Chord missed us,” a source close to the show told TVLine. “It’s a win-win.”

We’ve been missing chord for months now.. Glad that he’ll be coming back to glee. I love his character sam! Sam has been one of the best characters on the show!

Yes!.. I’m super excited to hear he’s coming back.. It was sad without him.. I would like to see where his character and Mercedes love blooms into…=)

He honestly has one of the best voices on the show.
And just fyi, the only reason he didn’t want to return is because they didn’t want him back (and then when they realized the mistake) they tried to make it up by offering him a recurring role…but he had already designated time to work on his album.
It really didn’t have anything to do with money.
..He might as well. He’s not doing anything else. LOL
I love that he’s going back to the show. I hope the producers of the show continue the Mercedes-Sam storyline. I think that will be really interesting. I wonder if Mercedes’ “sickness” on the latest episode of Glee relate to Chord’s character at all. ;) BABY BOOM!!!

@Yo-Landi: uhm NO. he actually has been working with his album as we speak. plus he’s recurring on the middle. It’s more of like RIB regretting their decision and they wanted him back badly.
Kinda embarrassing for both Glee and Chord. So much crap happened over the summer. Good luck to him, glad he is back as long as Sam stays away from Quinn im happy. :)
@baby: he’s not the one crawling back just so you know.. RIB wants him back cause glee is a downward spiral this season.
oh hell yea, Come back CHORD!!!! SAMCEDES ALL THE WAY… and if they ignore that whole part and try with Quinn again, hell’s fury shall reign upon RIB.
