Madonna: Back to NYC After 'W.E.' London Premiere

Madonna makes her way through Heathrow Airport on Monday (October 24) on a flight to New York City from London, England.

The 53-year-old Material Girl was in London to premiere her new movie, W.E., at the BFI London Film Festival – and the film got a standing ovation after the screening was over!

“I do know what it is like to be misunderstood on a global scale,” Madonna said (via THR). “I think it’s just fascinating to try and understand the nature of [Wallace Simpson and King Edward VIII's] relationship and why a man of that power would give up his throne for her.”
