Zooey Deschanel performs the National Anthem at Game Four of the World Series on Sunday (October 23) in Arlington, Texas.
The 31-year-old New Girl actress (in Moschino) kicked off the game between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Texas Rangers!
Zooey had to leave the game early but explained to her fans that she had a good reason to head home!
“Would have loved to have watched the whole game but I had to catch a plane so I can go to work tomorrow. That’s all guys. I’m not a jerk,” she wrote on her Twitter account.

Thank god for that, they actually had someone sing the anthem that has credibility and that didnt mess around with it. Nevermind the fact that she didnt screw up the words. Awesome Job Zooey!

I love Zooey but I wouldn’t go as far as a shapely figure…she’s pretty small still. A website says she is 5’5 and around 120 pounds…
