Leonardo DiCaprio suits up on Saturday (October 29) as he films scenes for his latest movie, The Great Gatsby, in Sydney, Australia.
The 36-year-old actor chatted with the romantic drama’s director, Baz Luhrmann, between scenes.

Leo has been Down Under for the past few months working with co-stars Carey Mulligan, Isla Fisher, and Tobey Maguire on the new film adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald novel.
Expect to see The Great Gatsby on the big screen next Christmas!

Leo will make the best Jay Gatsby!!!
I lubs me some Leo, Lawd knows I do, but I’d really love to see him another modern drama instead of another period piece. It’s always good to see but another period piece after doing another big biopic is just too safe.
I’m convinced the Academy will only reward him if he takes a BIG risk.

I’m glad Leo is doing Gatsby, but sometimes I think he does too many movies all bunched together. I wish hewould have said no to
the J. Edgar movie. I saw the trailer and the make up is gross. He looks much, much better for Gatsby.
I don’t know if Leo will top Redford as Jay Gatsby ( I beliebe he might ) but one thing is sure. Carey Mulligan will definitely be a better Daisy Buchanan. Mia Farrow was a total disaster.

I love how him and Baz are back together since Romeo and Juliet! The Baz Luhrmann version of R&J is my most favoriate movie EVER! Super excited to see this move…another one of my favorite books I have read.
