Rising star Lana Del Rey takes the latest cover of UK’s Wonderland magazine, on stands today.
Gorgeous photo shoot! Here’s what the 24-year-old Brooklyn singer told the mag:
On how she felt about people talking about her lips: “My mood changes about it depending on the day. In general, you don’t want anyone to say anything bad about you. I think when anything gets popular quickly there is always skepticism, but I don’t think that’s grounds for being rude or cruel. I’m sure it wouldn’t have happened if I were a man. What other people think of me is none of my business, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt my feelings.”
On her music making: “I was always writing little songs, but nothing I liked then. When I left school I wanted to do music because I thought I was good at it and I wanted to do something that I loved. So my uncle taught me to play guitar and I did these little shows, just me and my guitar, singing and playing the five chords that I knew”
On her music videos: “I’ve made all the videos so far – it’s expensive and I had no budget to ask anyone else. I think when you really want to make your own world around you, you just do what you can with what you have. And I didn’t have that much. Building my visual world was something that I transitioned to because I had done everything I wanted to do sonically – I’d finished my first record and I needed to get the pictures around it and, again, I was just guided by my own intuition, for whatever that was worth.”

People often call her fake company product or even Frankenstein of Indie (there’s a lot of internet hate) because of her unnatural looking lips and her background story which some claim is completely made up. She wanted to make a career as a singer long before, with her real name, but she failed and then some managers changed it to Lana Del Rey (she admits to that). She came back looking almost unrecognizable because of those giant lips and now often tells the story that she was raised in the poor family and lived in the trailer park, but some music blogs claim that she is in fact a daughter of some very rich and important guy. I don’t know what the truth is. Her lips look really fake to me (not here, in videos) but it doesn’t matter. She has a great voice and how she looks and who’s daugter she is won’t change that.

She looked pretty with her natural lips, but ever since she got a lip implant in her upper lips she looks gross. It looks so unnatural and disgusting, it’s like her lip is growing from her nose.
THese pictures are photoshopped so you can’t notice it much, but in other pictures of hers you can definitely see it. Why do pretty girls ruin their faces like this?

Her real name is Lizzy Grant. She is a failed artist who’s done a lot of plastic surgery, and also changed her name, and has invested a lot of money in a PR team who will try and get her famous. This is why she’s on this website right now and most of you have no idea who she is.
