OlderLeonardo DiCaprio: 'J. Edgar' Opening Night Gala with Armie Hammer!
Leonardo DiCaprio looks dashing as can be at the AFI Fest opening night gala of J. Edgar held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Thursday (November 3) in Hollywood.
The 36-year-old actor was joined at the gala by his co-star Armie Hammer, as well as the director of the film, Clint Eastwood.
“When I can’t immediately define the character, and there’s an element of mystery to it and still a lot to be explored, that’s when I say yes,” Leo recently told the New York Times about his role in J. Edgar, playing the disgruntled head of the FBI.
“I like those kinds of complicated characters. I just do,” he concluded.

I cannot wait to see this film. You can’t predict Oscars with male leads (he should have one for Aviator and Blood Diamonds), but you can predict a great performance from Leo. I’m also so happy for Armie Hammer. He really stood out to me on the Social Network and I wouldn’t be surprised if he got an Oscar nod.

Cripes, is Leo’s head still growing? If it gets any bigger, it’ll explode. I wish somebody else had this role. It would be nice to see someone besides Leonardo getting these biopic roles. There are more talented, diverse actors out there, so I just don’t get it.
