Katy Perry is pretty in pink as she arrives at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2011, held on Sunday (November 6) at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The 27-year-old singer presented Brian May of Queen with the Global Icon award during the big show!

Katy also picked up the award for Best Live Act, beating Coldplay, the Foo Fighters, Lady Gaga, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

She wasn’t the right person to give a prize such a big band, better if it had been done by Adele, she’s British like them, and large talent than Katy, but now it’s done.
I’m sorry, but as a Euopean i have to say that: WHY do they invite these people? Foo Fighters, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Red Hot chili Peppers, Adam Lambert (Who the hell is that?) and Selena Gomez are all americans. This is a european Award show. Basically they just flew all the american performers here and do the same show like in the states. Europe has such amazing singers and performers and even if i admire some american singers i still think The MTV awards europe should basically stay with european singers and musisians. That is what this price is all about. And you would wonder how special the music in europe is. And by the way, they hate David Hasselhoff over here, too. He is not german and he means nothing here, he is a joke.
