Chloe Moretz & Asa Butterfield: 'V' Magazine Feature!

Hugo stars Chloe Moretz and Asa Butterfield team up for a feature in V magazine’s latest issue, on newsstands tomorrow.

Here’s what the actors, both 14, had to share:

Asa, on acting: “You just have to get into the character and say to yourself, if I were the character and experienced what he had, how would I be feeling and how would that affect my voice and emotions?”

Director Martin Scorsese, on working with Chloe: “It was amazing to see her modify her own unique characteristics – the way she turns her head, the way she glances at the world around her, the way she smiles-and transform them into Isabelle’s characteristics. Actually…it was magical.”

FYI: Chloe is wearing Prada and Louboutin heels, and Asa is wearing a t-shirt and mesh sweater by Dolce&Gabbana.

Don’t you think this girl acts way too mature for her age? Both in her dressing style and the way she poses. And she is only 14! I’m curious to see how she is going to be in her 20s.

Damn, she’s gonna be a fox in a few years.

# 4

“Amos ‘n’ Andy”, obliged the stereotypes of the day. That certainly didn’t help advance the dignity of black people. Native American Indian stereotypes were also common. The road less traveled is to break from cliché and platitudes and pigeon-holed limitations so cruelly imposed on our artists.

That master class director Scorsese deigns to articulate some of Miss Moretz’ genius, should give pause to mediocre critics that sometimes attempt to hang the proverbial albatross around her neck, otherwise relegating her to, “Why, she’s just a child! How dare she dress in designer clothes!”

Chloe Moretz’ very presence is essentially “magical”, (to borrow Scorsese’s own superlative), that is her very genius.

You’re right. She should dress as some 14-year-old nobody. Makes perfect sense for an award-winning actress.

ta way she dresses is more like a 20yr old than her age.

Hot Chloe lips and hot Chloe legs. What a woman!
