Amy Adams teams up with director Pedro Almodovar to announce this year’s recipient of the Cecil B. DeMille Award on Wednesday (November 9) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 37-year-old actress announced that Morgan Freeman will be honored with the prestigious award, which will be given to him at the Golden Globe Awards in January.
The Cecil B. DeMille Award honors “talented individuals who have made an incredible impact on the world of entertainment.”
Past winners include Martin Scorsese, Robert De Niro, and Steven Spielberg.
