Alessandra Ambrosio makes her way down the catwalk during the 2011 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Wednesday (November 9) at the Lexington Avenue Armory in NYC.
The 30-year-old Brazilian model wore a tutu and Maria Ficalora Knitwear with the VS Dream Angels push up bra during the ballet portion of the show.
Ale also rocked wings, a necklace, and corset by Jenny Manik Mercian, which were created using Swarovski Elements.
The fashion show’s encore featured the VS Angels walking down the runway to Lady Gaga‘s “Born This Way,” Rihanna‘s “S&M,” and Beyonce‘s “Run the World (Girls).”

one more thing- what happened to the va va voom victorias secret makeup and hair? the hair and makeup was sooo under par for a show of this caliber. at least blow out the hair…

In an interview with The Daily Telegraph that has sent shock waves around the world, Lima was frank about her extreme diet and fitness regimen in the days leading up to the annual televised Victoria’s Secret fashion show, set to air on November 9.

In addition to twice-daily workouts, for nine days leading up to the show, Lima eats no solids. She subsists entirely on protein shakes made in part from powdered eggs, and drinks a gallon of water a day. Two days before the show, she stops drinking the gallon of water and just drinks normally.

Then, 12 hours before the show, she has nothing. No food. No water.

Nothing.

“No liquids at all so you dry out, sometimes you can lose up to eight pounds just from that,” she told The Telegraph.

I’m all for thin but I call this ANOREXIA. I don’t care if she doesn’t make herself throw up or purge, this is anorexia to me.

I love her, but I feel this years VSFS is blah, judging by the runway designs, but some of the models as well. Its the same ole same ole. Nothing jumps out, and that unfortunately isnt a good thing for a line like VS. But I still love Ally!

I never realized how short her legs are
her and lima are old news. they look silly now making crazy faces walking in lingerie. its just not the same. they need to create businesses and stop the boring panty pushing. They are officially like how Heidi and Tyra were, the old angels…lol
I love Ale but my last favorite show of hers was in 2008 after she had Anja. She is too skinny now and in that show she had such a glow and extra weight, it worked wonders for her! She is lucky because she can gain some and not get a fat face! so she can afford some extra weight and it won’t make her look bloated or deteriorate her facial beauty.
Once an Angel, always an Angel wouldn’t be mad if Tyra and Heidi came back, I love VS models its like the NFL of modeling. No slacking is allowed besides, if you got it, you got it. Until I see a wrinkle I say go for it.

But seriously, some stuff i read makes me kind of sad. I am a skinny girl, and eat a lot – more than my friends, I’m very health…
It’s unpolite to call someone fat, and makes you a mean person and a bully, but a skinny girl will hear unpleasant things all her life – just like I do. People will defend those with a bigger weight and say it’s just heir bodytype, but a skinny person is automatically linked to anorexia or whatever. It is a bodytype too.

OMG guys, short legs, really? I mean, are you blind or what? If those are short legs, I think I am born without legs at all! Please! I think she’s beautiful in all the ways, really, and even if she’s not flawless, who cares? I don’t like people that just look at each piece of a person’s body ready to say sh**it for the first unperfect thing they see. STOP THIS IMAGE RACISM. Please.
