OlderConnie Britton Adopts Baby Boy from Ethiopia
Connie Britton has adopted a baby boy, a rep for the actress confirms to JustJared.com.
The 44-year-old actress, who starred in Friday Night Lights and now appears on FX’s drama American Horror Story, is the proud parent of a 9-month-old baby boy named Eyob from Ethiopia, the actress told People.

Connie traveled to the African nation earlier this month after a three-year adoption process and recently returned home with Eyob.
“I am thanking my lucky stars every day,” Connie told People.

I am surprised by the lenghty adoption process. I had the impression that these celebs get special treatment?! Or is it some celebrities only?
Congrats to her. I hope the baby gets to keep his name will grow up learning Amharic and his culture.
Finally a celebrity who had to go through a long adoption process unlike brangelina or madonna. It finally won’t frustrate other parent who is trying for so long, instead this exemple will encourage him/her.

Nobody should be happy that the adoption process is so long, #7. More people would adopt more of it was easier.

So true Romeo. My friend waited four years before she could bring her twins over from Korea. All her friends were shocked when we found it took that long. Sweetest babies on the planet. They are truly blessed to have a great Mom and Dad.
