OlderDemi Moore & Ashton Kutcher Split
Demi Moore and husband Ashton Kutcher have called it quits, her rep confirms to JustJared.com.
“It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life,” the 49-year-old actress said in a statement.
“This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation,” Demi added.
News of the couple’s split comes just a few weeks after a 22-year-old woman claimed she had an affair with Ashton, 33, on his sixth wedding anniversary.

This is so saddening! I loved them as a couple! They were probably the only couple with quite an age difference that I liked! Stay strong you two!
sad for any couple going through a divorce, but you gotta do what’s best. i never cared for ashton anyhow.
This is very sad. I’m sorry to hear this. They both seem like decent people. It is such a shame that their marriage has collapsed. Marriage, in my experience, takes work. A lot of work.
I think it’s safe to say that pretty much everyone who kept up on Demi & Ashton saw this coming. Whatever, maybe Demi can rebound with a guy who isn’t the worst actor ever.
My thoughts go out to their family. Everyone must be devastasted. So far, unfortunately, I’ve been dealing with men like Ashton Kutcher with no backbone, who make promises they cannot keep. I won’t cry for all the hunger in my heart. I’m dying to have a baby. In fact, my biological clock is already ticking and I don’t know how to describe it. It’s just becoming a physical need now. I am a 34 year old divorced woman with a young daughter but I look forward to what the future brings.

Pretty much confirmation from Demi that those rumours are true. I really feel for her, and to have to deal with it so publicly too. Ashton had it coming, I have no sympathy for him at all and he has fallen in whatever estimations I had of him.

kinda annoying…cheating…without even the respect of a condom…yeah, he wanted to leave but couldnt just say it openly without the drama. demi is tough…she’ll bounce back…and he will bounce back too….wish them both the best.
i’ve always disliked demi moore but it’s nothing compared to how much i dislike ashton. just looking at his face makes me gag. how is this guy famous? why does he have fans? i wish i knew, i wish i would just get it.
good thing is, demi can stop pretending to be all young and hip from now on and just be herself; hopefully age gracefully and contentedly. as for ashton, i hope he just does lots of drugs, parties with gold-diggers for the rest of his life and end up penniless and alone. is that too harsh? hey, at least i don’t wish him ill health. i’m just wishing him exactly what he wants to do with his life.
