Connie Britton: Eyob's First Pictures!

Connie Britton goes for a stroll with her newly adopted son Eyob on Saturday (November 26) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 44-year-old American Horror Story actress grabbed lunch at The Ivy restaurant with her family.

Connie traveled to the African nation Ethiopia earlier this month after a three-year adoption process and recently returned home with 9-month-old Eyob.

On the next episode of American Horror Story, one of history’s most famous murder victims pays the house a visit and Constance (Jessica Lange) discovers more of Tate’s (Evan Peters) bad behavior.

FYI: Connie is using her Ergo baby carrier!

What’s the deal with every celebrity getting young Negro boys from Africa and then adopting them? Has it become fashionable?

There are thousands of white American children without parents in the USA already who need permanent homes and loving families, so it really saddens me to see these stupid people adopting from Africa in an effort to be seen as liberal and cool.

@John Hopkirk: guess what white american children have a better chance at survival than ones in the poor nations in africa. Think before you speak, heartless twit.

@hopkirk is stupid: Yeah, say that to the kid who is being abused by her foster parent, whose just using the kid for the money. Or say that to the kid living on the streets. Think before you speak. There al ALOT of kids in the USA who need to be adopted.

@John Hopkirk: Wow you disgusting racist. Caucasians are NOT superior to Africans and should not be adopted based on their race. Every life is equal and deserves equal opportunity. That is why she adopted a child from Ethiopia, because there is a famine there right now that is killing millions. Because they do not have the same opportunities we have in North America.

The truth is that there are children in need of good parents and adoption in every country. Yes, while there are American children in need too, no one should hate on anyone that adopts children from another country. It is their personal choice and it should not be turn into hate or racist arguments. The point is another child is saved; it doesn’t matter where the child is from. Also, many people fail to realize is that American children gets adopted too by celebrities: Sandra Bullock, Diane Keaton etc. In the poorest countries, such as Ethiopia, these babies stand no chances when compared to American babies up for adoption.

@John Hopkirk: Yep, you’re an idiot.
Here’s the deal. There are children to adopt in America HOWEVER, the process usually takes more time, and with white children there is usually a waiting list unless you are open to taking any age and any background (there are many babies/children with parents from drugs abusers and abusers any many do not want to adopt these kids because they can be very difficult due to their background and it’s perfectly understandable that they’ll “act out”, One person I know adopted a baby in America who later acted out because the child had been abused sexually and mentally before and also abused drugs because it was in his “system”. That’s the thing people don’t talk about or realize until it’s too late. We are born with all these genes from our parents so it effects us later in life or sometimes not so late and it becomes worse. The babies from other countries are not usually abandoned due to drugs or mental health problems or from abusive backgrounds, they’re just poor. If you watch Teen Mom, those babies are rare and usually the one with the most money and most material possesions and comfort gets them. If you saw 16 and pregnant the ones adopting were usually two parents and could provide an upper middle class lifestyle for the baby.,What i’m trying to say is, it’s not easy to adopt WHITE babies in America and as a white person, it’s not easy to adopt a BLACK baby in Ameirca, there are very strict rules for that so all in all, it’s just easier to adopt from other countries. One last thing, we are all human beings, our shells do not and should not be a factor, just look at the UK where you can’t adopt “interacially”, it’s sickening and i would have thought better of the “progressive” UK but nope, they still live in the 50s when it comes top adoption and would rather see a child bouncing from one foster home to another, as if children care what color their parents are so long as they love them and protect them.
