OlderVictoria Beckham: British Fashion Awards Winner!
Victoria Beckham wraps her arm around designer Marc Jacobs at the British Fashion Awards held at The Savoy Hotel on Monday (November 28) in London, England.
At the awards, the 37-year-old designer accepted the Designer Brand of the Year award from Marc, and was near tears when she went on stage to claim the prize, according to New York Magazine!

Also at the awards were Kate Hudson in Stella McCartney, Kate Moss, and Alexa Chung, who, for the second year in a row, won the British Style Award.
FYI: Kate Hudson is carrying a Kate Moss for Longchamp clutch.

Did not know what the awards were but now I know we cant take it seriously if she has won seeing as how her designs aren’t innovative but are more of a copy of Miu Miu and Roland Mouret’s designs!!

wh at a joke – all she does is copy other designers – she has even admitted she cannot draw so how does she D E S I G N – same thing happened before beckhams went to the states 5 years ago she was awarded british entrepreneur of the year – this time they are are going to paris lo and behold she gets an award – wot an absolute kick in the teeth for struggling designers who spent years learning their trade to be outdone by a no talent copying freaky looking alien like this awful woman

@julie: Obviously not. She just had a child and to me, she doesn’t seem like someone who is concerned with looking thin again.

You may not like her line, but she is on track to make $60 million off of it this year. She isn’t designing for the younger hip crowd (which you two obviously feel like you are part of). Her clothes are classy, elegant and stylish for women who want that look. She certainly deserved the award–she was up against Burberry, McCartney and Tom Ford, none of whom branded their lines well this year.
And if you bothered to follow the British Fashion awards you would know that Sarah Burton, creative director at Alexander McQueen, was named designer of the year – the evening’s highest accolade. And Stella McCartney got the prestigious Red Carpet award for her line which has been worn by Kidman, Paltrow and Sarandon this year.
Victoria’s award was for branding and she did an excellent job.
@inmomar – I couldn’t agree with you more. It’s a joke that these celebs call themselves designers. They are just celebs who just put their name to a clothing line. They will NEVER possess the talents of someone like Sarah Burton who studied and worked hard to get where they are today.
@danielle – It’s got nothing to do with not liking V Beckham she is NOT a designer. She shouldn’t be sharing the same stage as Sarah Burton it’s insulting. What kind of message does this give up and coming designers. BFA should be ashamed of themselves what were they thinking giving her an award.
What an honor for her, have two of her dresses, and they are the most chic, sexy items in my wardrobe that never fail to get compliments. Congrats to VB, keep on working hard, and proving haters wrong!
