Last week, George was named National Board of Review’s best actor for his work in The Descendants!

Last month, George told Rolling Stone that the film should definitely be nominated for an Oscar.

“If it’s not nominated for Best Picture, I’ll be shocked. It’s that good,” he said.

Uh, jared. That’s Grant Heslov, Clooney’s filmmaking partner. He either writes or produces or both. They worked together for years.

Why, why why does George insist on wearing the male version of mom jeans????

I saw the movie and it was really boring. I didn’t think it was that good. I did like the two girls who played his daughters. They were really good. George Clooney was the same character he always plays. Exactly. Sometimes I think he gets nominated for awards because he is George Clooney and he’s popular in Hollywood. Like he is the supreme mega- boss, H’wood starguy. Matt Damon and Johnny Depp are way better than him as actors. I like Clooney, but I always seem to expect more than I get from his movies.

@pickles: I agree. His “acting” – if you can call it that- was blah and non-existent as always. I also thought the two girls who played his daughters were outstanding- in particular the littlest one. I was bawling my eyes out in the scene where they told her mother was going to die.

I wonder who Keibler screwed for that. She wants to make sure George wins an Oscar so she can maximize her famewhoring.

    Excerpts from George’s acceptance speech:
I’d like to thank my hired hooker for ******** half of the academy and threatening to have the other half killed. Hey, that’s one way to “win” an award.
