Matt Damon Drops by 'Late Show With Letterman'

Matt Damon braves the rain outside The Ed Sullivan Theater on Tuesday (December 6) in New York City.

The 41-year-old We Bought A Zoo star, wearing Calvin Klein Collection, taped an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman, where he chatted about an embarrassing encounter with someone he thought was a fan.

“A couple years ago, we were in London. My daughter was 1 at the time and it was just my wife, my daughter, and I … This young Spanish couple came walking by, we were the only ones in the park, and they saw me and then kind of walked over,” Matt recalled.

“The guy started reaching for his camera and said, ‘Picture, please.’ And I said, ‘Sure, no problem.’ The guy starts to pull his camera out and I go and put my arm around his wife and he looks up and he looks at me with kind of that universal look, like ‘What the f— are you doing holding my wife,’” he added. “I realized he wanted me to take a picture of [them]!”
