Noomi Rapace: I Threw Up After Playing Lisbeth Salander
Here’s what the 31-year-old actress had to share with the mag:
On playing Lisbeth Salander in 2009’s The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo: “I felt like she lived in me. My Lisbeth was my Lisbeth. I gave her my life and my soul for one-and-a-half years, and then I was finished. I’m so done with her.”
On throwing up after her last scene: “My whole body was just kind of throwing Lisbeth out of me. I was like, I don’t know who I am anymore! It’s like you’ve loaned yourself to someone else.”
On the new Lisbeth, a role played by Rooney Mara: “I’m pretty sure that they will do something completely different with her.”
You can catch Noomi on the big screen next Friday, December 16, when Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows hits theaters!
