OlderDakota Fanning: Hats Off to a Day Off
Dakota Fanning goes incognito in a hat as she gets in some shopping with mom Joy on Wednesday (December 7) in Venice, Italy.
The following day, the 17-year-old actress was seen dressed in a Victorian dress as she filmed scenes for her latest movie Effie, where she plays the title character. The flick will be directed by Richard Laxton, who also helmed 2009′s An Englishman in New York.

Dakota recently spoke about the challenges of having to wear a corset for the film.

I thought Dakota had started attending university this semester. How is she already taking time off?
She is going to NY Uni, they allow for their students to interrupt their studies to work, study at their own pace, plan their own courses, degree requirements. It is very flexible and perfect for a busy, working actress like Dakota. It’s impressive she is only 17 and in uni. She can take five years and still finish uni at the same time as people her age.
Yes Dakota is such an inspiration and great role model. love her!
