OlderCynthia Nixon: 'Wit' Previews Begin January 5!
Cynthia Nixon snaps a photo with director Lynne Meadow at a photo call in support of her new play, Wit, at a rehearsal studio for the Manhattan Theatre Company on Tuesday (December 13) in New York City.
The 45-year-old Sex and the City alum stars in the drama by Margaret Edson.
Here’s the synopsis: “Wit follows a brilliant and exacting poetry professor as she undergoes experimental treatment for cancer. A scholar who devoted her life to academia, she must now face the irony and injustice of becoming the subject of research.”

I think it’s based on a tv movie “Wit” (2001) wrote by Emma Thompson. She also starred in it.
