Heard him, he doesn’t sound so good live – lots of shout-singing…

He sounds great live, easily heard with dozens of videos of both those concerts on YT.
And great of him to do two benefit concerts in two days, right after finishing a rigorous Glee schedule and then jumping into How To Succeed rehearsals.

@Anne: Were you actually there to hear his whole set on one or both nights? He played a wide range of songs that went from gorgeous ballads, to energetic pop, to lovely American Songbook classics, to Broadway, to rockin’-out rock. Darren truly sounded wonderful throughout, so your comment puzzles me.

Darren always seems to revel in the immediacy of performing in front of a live audience, which is also lovely to watch and enjoy. He always puts such heart and soul into what he does and adds his own style to revitalize songs he’s known for and keep them forever ‘fresh’ for his audiences. He is truly “in his element” performing live. Bravo, Darren!

he sounds awesome really he has a beautiful voice there always is some times that you loose your voice in a live performance I think for some moments he is getting excited thats all the reason you say that he sounds bad.HE DOESN’T SOUND BAD THAT’S JUST BECAUSE OF THE EXCİTEMENT OF THE MOMENT
