Channing Tatum & Jonah Hill: '21 Jump Street' Poster!

Check out Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum in the poster for their upcoming film 21 Jump Street!

The flick, which is a big-screen reboot of the popular ’80s TV series, centers around a pair of underachieving cops who are sent back to a local high school to blend in and bring down a synthetic drug ring.

“I’ve got to be honest – I’m about as ‘fish out of water’ as I can possibly get. I signed on [for this movie] for Jonah and I watched this show growing up, so this is home for me,” Channing told MTV News on the set of the movie.

“[Our characters] complete one another with our flaws and strengths,” Jonah, who co-wrote the script with Michael Bacall, added.

I loved 21 Jumpstreet back in the day (ok I’m showing my age)! I even baught all the seasons on dvd. The movie looks good but other than being undercover cops in high school it doesn’t seem like it’ll be anything like the series. I still might see it though I saw a cameo from Holly Robinson-Peete and they say Johnny Depp will have a cameo also!

..Cant believe they turned this into a comedy.

I can’t believe how desensitized us Americans are with the sight of a gun. Two men holding guns in a school on a movie poster aimed toward teenagers.

I grow up on 21 Jumpstreet and the poster and the fact that the turned it into a comedy is a huge let down and I will not pay to watch this disaster of a movie.

Stop Rehashing the 80s and 90s! PLEASE! You’re Killing Us! We need original content, or we won’t last much longer! Don’t do this, please – if anyone in Hollywood has one ounce of real talent and passion left in them….don’t rehash/remake another thing. We know you can do it. We believe in you.
