Gerard Butler Recovering After Surfing Incident

Gerard Butler is on the mend after a scary incident involving his latest movie, Of Men and Mavericks.

The 42-year-old Scottish stud was filming scenes for the movie version of surfer Jay Moriarty‘s life story when some strong waves began to come through the Northern California break.

According to ESPN, a large outside set of waves came through and caught the cast and crew off-guard.

“[Gerry] was held down for a solid two waves and took four or five more on the head before being washed through the rocks on the inside, where he was finally able to be plucked out,” eyewitnesses told ESPN.

Gerry was taken to the hospital just in case but is expected to make a full recovery. Glad everyone is okay, but what a scary experience!

    @Tonto:
    The issue is not about having a heart you dummy. It’s about informing everyone on an anonymous forum that someone you know had died, all in order to gain sympathy and attention from a public forum. That’s the issue at hand and the fact that an idiot like you and others here don’t recognize how pathetic it is, is really chilling.

    Judging by tweets @LBW27, Butler found some casual ‘hospitality’ last night.

    “My wish is that the coming year brings us all more hope and joy”

    Cheers to that!

    I think he’s found his best hair look in a while. Seems like he’s been searching for a look. And since Beowulf,-vs300, right to the very short look in Frankie, well those were all good, but the last few years his hair off screen has been kind of confused.
    So, glad he didn’t drown, and hope he goes with a look of his own short or long, that fits him.

    I had a friend who made everything ‘about her’ I couldn’t really explain it, but when she told me one day all about everyone having to carry her, or let her lean on them as her legs wobbled at a funeral, not a close friend or relative, for the first time the phrase “It isn’t about you!!” came to me clearly.
    That fits quite well here.
    How did Gerry’s accidental dunking get to this?
    Glad he is OK.
