'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' Trailer Released!

Check out the just released trailer for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey!

Synopsis: The flick follows title character Bilbo Baggins, who is swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor, which was long ago conquered by the dragon Smaug. Approached out of the blue by the wizard Gandalf the Grey, Bilbo finds himself joining a company of thirteen dwarves led by the legendary warrior, Thorin Oakensheild. Their journey will take them into the Wild; through treacherous lands swarming with Goblins and Orcs, deadly Wargs and Giant Spiders, Shapeshifters and Sorcerers.

Although their goal lies to the East and the wastelands of the Lonely Mountain first they must escape the goblin tunnels, where Bilbo meets the creature that will change his life forever … Gollum. Here, alone with Gollum, on the shores of an underground lake, the unassuming Bilbo Baggins not only discovers depths of guile and courage that surprise even him, he also gains possession of Gollum’s “precious” ring that holds unexpected and useful qualities … A simple, gold ring that is tied to the fate of all Middle-earth in ways Bilbo cannot begin to know.

The Peter Jackson-directed flick features a star-studded cast that includes Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Elijah Wood, Evangeline Lilly, Ian McKellen, and Martin Freeman.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hits theaters December 14, 2012!

I can’t wait!!

@Me: lolz. true!!

Really looking forward to this! :D

@sarah:

ME TOO!! CAN’T WAIT!!

@Me:

Twilight? Twilight series has to be the most horrible piece of crap ever put on screen. The acting smelled like dog poop. I read the books and they were great. Was so excited when the first movie came out. What a waste! My daughter went to see the first one and came back saying she wouldn’t go see the rest if they paid her, and she also read all the books. Twilight? PLEASE!!

@Amelia:

Saw the first one. That was enough for me. Horrible acting, but teenagers today don’t know much about good acting do they?

Wasn’t going to see this as The Hobbit was my least favorite of Tolkien’s works, but after seeing the trailer–count me in! Looks wonderful.

ohmygodohmygodohmygod im so exctied!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ohmygodohmygodohmygod im so exctied!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh boy this looks so bad…

I cannot wait! I just hope that it’s on the same par as the Lord of The Rings. I can’t see how it can’t be though. I can’t believe we have to wait a year though! lol

I’ll be home in NZ in January. Maybe I see a couple of the guys. :D The trailer is good. Just too bad that it will take a while until it comes to the big picture. :(
