OlderHugh Jackman Auctions Off Undershirt for $30,000
Hugh Jackman leaves his apartment on Wednesday (December 21) in New York City.
The night before, the 43-year-old Aussie actor performed in his Hugh Jackman Back on Broadway show where he gave a shout out to Uma Thurman and Scarlett Johansson who were sitting in the audience.

At the end of the night, Hugh auctioned off his sweaty undershirt for charity.
“Scarlett ran onstage and bid $3,000, but lost out as the shirt went for a whopping $30,000,” the NY Post reports.

Eweeee. Disgusting. Sweat is sweat and it doesn’t matter who soils it, even for Jackman.
@Ruben: Oh, for that matter, a collector has paid four times more to get a tuft of pubic hair of Napoleon Bonaparte, and neither was for charity. In this case, has been for a good cause, the undershirt is irrelevant, is the generous offer of the donor that matters.
There IS trouble in paradise! I just found out the Jack is moving his economic assets, mostly his US properties, into a corporation. That smells like a big D word.

Dipper – you’ve posted this same comment on two different threads. Where do you get your info? Or are you just another little troll?
This isn’t a huge event. He’s been doing it almost every night and the proceeds all go to Broadway Care/Equity Fights AIDS. I’ve seen the show twice (blush) and he’s done it both times. It does, however, continue to amaze me that people will fight for his undershirt!

Hugh Jackman’s one-man show has–in its short Broadway run–has raised more than $1 million for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Wednesday night he actually auctioned off the first t-shirt for $15,000 and then offered a second t-shirt to the next top-bidder for another $15,000. So, with two t-shirts, he was able to raise $30,000 for BC/EFA.
