    p124 Says:

man, she’s a great singer and all but how many of her type do we need? we already have leona lewis (who has a way better voice, btw). i was hoping someone different like chris or josh would win. so lame.

    Pebbles Says:

@p124: What do you mean by type? They all have something different to offer. And not about what “we need”, its about HER and what she wants to do with her talent. You could also make connections from Josh to other artists and the same with Chris. But the truth is they all have something unique and there is enough room for all of them in this industry.

I was rooting for Josh, but I am also glad that Melanie won. They both are really good but different styles. Chris had a great background story but i think he would sound better if they enhanced his vocals in the recording studio. Chris sang off key too much, but he was likeable and had good stage presence.

    mia Says:

she is boring ,,.,do we need a nnother mariah copy which is already leonan lewis..this show was dissapointing in how Simaon could not remain neutral but heaped insults on a perfectly talented singer; Marcus Canty,,,…the kid did not have to win but at the same time he was not BAD as simon wanted to potray

    Petii Says:

    congrats melanie! u r the best! (:

    amensister Says:

another Leona-like singer who has an amazing voice and ?????
while Josh will shine because its not only his voice that is different from anything that is out there now

    meh Says:

to be honest wasn’t blown away by anyone. The winner sounded just like any other screaming annoying church singer out there. dime a dozen. she was no Leona Lewis! I liked Josh but he had no star presence. Kind of more like the background guy, not a superstar. The Chris guy should be a definite background guy, producer/writer. He is good in that aspect but has an awful voice, thank God he didn’t win.

    ten Says:

I have to agree.Melanie was the strongest vocally of everyone, but i really liked Josh’s voice too. it sounded like Joe Cocker , Louie Armstrong and John Mayer mixed together. loved it!!. Still ,why the H*** was Chris Rene in the top 3? like we need another K-Fed no talent jerk off trying to be like someone else. Stick to writing music and keep the microphone well hidden. Uh Uh Uh , what a jack hole. Congrats Melanie, and i hope Josh gets picked up like Daughtry did , he’s Awesome too.

  24. 24
    Irene Says:

Why worry who won the X Factor. If the public think they are good they are going to be the winners in the end. They will be the ones that will sell the must music. So I say good luck to the three of them as each one was different in there own way. We will hear more from them in the future and only time will tell who will really make a star

    Ginger Says:

America voted because Simon would be dogging the voters that didn’t vote for Melanie. Melanie has a great voice and reminds me of Jennifer Hudson, Jordan Sparks… Let’s hope her album soars. I really wanted Josh to win however. He had the best story. He worked a long time for this and still didn’t win… but I’m sure he’s got a record deal now! So i’m excited for him too.
