She seems kind of jaded @ 12/26/2011 at 5:50 pm

Is it just me or does she seem jaded lately? She just seems like she is not having fun anymore… Like the sweetness is gone and she seems kind of hardened. Wish her well because she’s a wonderful actress and so beautiful.

@She seems kind of jaded: It’s just you because she’s having more fun and showing her killer sense of humor more than ever before. She’s hilarious apart from being beautiful and talented.

She’s right though. most Oscar’s go to roles that are real people. True Stories portrayed mostly get attention via the Academy. I dont think she seems jaded.. she’s single after being in a long term relationship..it’s weird..its like finding yourself all over again.

@Purple Poet: Could be like you said, she’s being herself, being more self-assured and having the confidence to let her humor flow. You may be right. She does appear tired though. Hope she’s okay. I know a break-up take a lot out of you physically. I do like her as an actress, so hope she continues to succeed.

@Scorpio16: shut up loser..you’re probably a psychotic ex wife who’s immature enough to deal with consequences of divorce..grow up loser.

isn’t she a citizen of the US too? Why South African actress? wondering?

what i like the most is that shes old-school and nothing like the new teen actors that pretend to be humble – acting like they’re ‘normal’ and not taking a private jet everywhere. She keeps it real.. she wants that award and is working for it!!

“yep” – she was born in S.A therefore shes a south african. (with american citizenship)

Do not think that she wins her 2nd Oscar for her new role in YA (although I really hope that she does, or at least gets nom).

As much as I like her, I’d rather she won an Oscar for something other than Young Adult – that movie is just awful, more so for pretending to have depth.

I’m the one feeling JADED after reading some comments…
still smiling anyway..Charlize does that to me
even if she (might) thing I’m screwed up:/
